There is even a little bit more good news, as Dustin Byfuglien is also listed as a game-time decision tonight, as he is well-ahead of schedule from his upper-body injury, which has kept him out for the last couple of weeks.
Adding both these pieces to their back end will go a long ways to help secure their playoff position, which they have recently fallen out of.
These moves don't have much affect on the money situation in the standings, but Myers will improve Mike's chances in the third segment race and Byfuglien's possible return has put his projected games back in Tony's totals and it would help the free fall in the standings, at the very least.
Clayton, who sits in 4th, 10 points back, will have one of his two goalies going, as Brian Elliott will go for the Blues against the Flames in Calgary.
Dale B., in 5th, 18 points back, won't see any help from the crease tonight, but Brian, in 6th, 19 points back, will see Devan Dubnyk hit the net for the Wild (again!).
The gap from 7th place to 12th place is now 11 points, as teams are scratching and clawing for points. In order in the standings, Cam has one goalie hurt and the other backing up tonight, neither of Scott's goalies are scheduled to go, Dale C. should have both goalies (Corey Crawford and Dustin Tokarski) going, Benson is without either of his goalie teams going tonight, Ondrej Pavelec is going to go for Stacey M. tonight and Troy's only possible goalie will be backing up tonight.
The three teams in the race for the Olli: Wyllie, Allan and Ryan, will have a little bit of action tonight. Wyllie should have Michal Neuvirth starting for the Islanders, while Allan has both goalies, Antti Niemi and Steve Mason, going for the Sharks and Flyers and Ryan is hooped, not having a goalie going. On goalie potential, Ryan could end up at the bottom, if everything went the way of his basement rivals.
