Four games on tap to start Week Twenty-Two in the goalie survival pool and as much as neither one of the big starters are going for either Stacey M. or John S., we do have one goalie going tonight.
Antti Raanta (Stacey M.) versus Andrei Vasilevskiy (Ryan)
Stacey gets a start from her Rangers back-up tonight and this would take the pressure off her number one as the week moved on. The task is pretty tough, as the Lightning have been running hot of late, playing with the current player of the week, Nikita Kucherov.
Vasilevskiy is also a key goalie in the current money race, as Ryan opens the week only 6 points out of the money today. This should be a pretty good game, regardless.
Kari Lehtonen (Dale C) versus Braden Holtby (Jeremy)One more money game on the schedule tonight, something worth noting. Jeremy is also chasing down the money spots and he sends his best player to the Capitals' crease, trying to shut down that 5-point gap down to something more manageable with a Holtby win. The Stars still carry some offense, so a 4-point shutout win seems a little less likely, but he should still be considered the favourite to win this one.
