Not long after I post the injury updates from the night before, do I get an update on the update.
Viktor Stalberg will now miss 3-to-4 weeks with an AC sprain in his right shoulder, which he injured in Tuesday night's action against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Stalberg was hurt early on in the game and now, at worst, will miss about a month's worth of action, including the last preseason action and a couple weeks of regular season action.
Kristy & Don will be without their 14th round pick for the first couple weeks of the season, which will put them into heavy consideration mode for a preseason waiver pick. Getting down early in the standings likely isn't what they are looking for, but they would have to consider whether or not they will be able to find someone comparable to Stalberg's projected output.
