Player Notes in the Draft & Playoffs (Apr 7)
Even in this final playoff push, the Winnipeg Jets just can't escape the injury bug. On Monday night, defenseman Tobias Enstrom was held out against the Wild, due to an upper-body injury. The coach, speaking in vague terms, didn't really give any indication about how long they expect him to be out, but they'll have him back as soon as he is deemed ready to go. He is only considered to be day-to-day for the moment.
With only five days worth of action left to go, Allan's team inched a tad closer to a double bobblehead season, as he lost a point to Wyllie in the race for the Olli, but his team is somewhat safe still, with 10 points still to give up before dropping down.
Enstrom also appears on the Playoff Pool sheet, as the last Jets defenseman in Box 11, but that would mean he would figure if you thought the Jets really had a shot to make it to the second round of the playoffs. It all depends on who they play, if they make it at all.
An updated list of injuries can be found here.
