Training camps for most teams, are set to get started tomorrow with testing and on-ice sessions to start on Friday. Ahead of the testing, the Columbus Blue Jackets will be without forward Boone Jenner to start, as he is suffering from what the team calls a middle-body injury and he's currently day-to-day. There doesn't appear to be anything in this report that would suggest that he will be missing any preseason action, but it does mean that he'll be held out of the first few days of camp.
Jenner is thought to be a pool worthy player this season, as my initial projections suggest a 40-point season, while the Hockey News thinks a bit more of him, setting the bar at 46 points. That's a decent mid-range pick in the draft, so he would be one to keep an eye on in camp.
