The threat of unrestricted free agency can weigh heavy on a player or a team in a contract year, but now that is something that Winnipeg Jets forward Bryan Little doesn't have to worry about, after signing a 6-year contract extension, which will take him through the 2024 season.
Last season, the 29-year old was good for 47 points in only 59 games, which suggests that if healthy, he could produce some real offense through 80 games or so. He is, however, on my Injury Prone List and would preach caution with a player like this, but the Jets are optimistic that he can turn his health around and be the guy they need for a long playoff run.
