An injury, a scratch and a back-up didn't play for Clayton on Friday night, which brought the man-games down to a 5-3 margin and Cam Ward (Stuart) didn't get the win in the only start between the two teams. So, it wasn't a very memorable evening for either side, but the lead did manage to shrink just a little.
Now, going into Saturday, we have a great match-up of games as the schedule has seven games in the league.

Stuart won't have Vincent Lecavalier (Stuart) going for him tonight, due to a shoulder injury, which requires surgery. Washington has a chance to win the Southeast Division, which should mean that Cristobel Huet (Stuart) should get the start for the Caps. Clayton doesn't have much for slouches either, however. Between his three forwards, Clayton has received just over 100 goals this season. This should make for a huge night before the finale on Sunday.
