If it wasn't good enough news that the Stars made it through the first round against the Ducks without their best defensemen, it just got a whole lot better with the news that they will be getting one of them back to start the series against San Jose on Friday.
Sergei Zubov (Box 8) looks to be ready to play his first game in quite some time on Friday after dealing with a foot injury and a sports hernia. This is good news to two teams in the Playoff Pool as well, as they took the risk of taking Zubov before the playoffs had started, in hopes that he would make a triumphant return to the Stars' line-up.Zubov only managed to play in 46 games this season with the Stars, finishing the regular season with 35 points (4G, 31A).
