The Canadiens will be without defenseman, Mark Streit (Box 21) for tonight's game against the Bruins. Streit suffered a hip injury in Game 4 on Tuesday night and is sidelined day-to-day. Streit, taken 17 times in the pool, will sorely be missed by both the club and the pool in the decisive game against Boston, but if the team can rest him and still win, then the rest will be well worth it. The team obviously doesn't want to jeopardize one of their best defensemen at this point of the playoffs.
Streit only has 1 assist so far in the playoffs, but is very capable of breaking out once he returns.
