We're keeping a close eye on a developing injury story, as Tyler Myers left the Sabres' game against the Coyotes with an upper-body injury, believed to be in the hand or wrist area. Myers was held out of the 3rd period of the game and the updates haven't come down yet from the club and the Sabres do not play again until Wednesday, so I don't imagine we'll see anything too detailed before then, unless the injury is far more significant and will keep the big defender out long-term.
Myers has 6 points in 19 games this season for the Sabres, which isn't a great start to the season, but he has put up some points, which is important.
In the draft, Allan S. will be keeping a close eye on this situation, as he currently sits in 6th place, only 8 points out of 3rd place going into Sunday's action. If this injury is more significant, it could be a bit of trouble.
