Stone to Sit For Two Games

On Sunday night, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone was called to the carpet for a Monday morning hearing for a high hit on Detroit's Landon Ferraro and in the early afternoon, the decision came down that Stone would sit for a couple of games.

As you will see in the video below, the explanation of the suspension  was quite reasonable and for that, a couple skater games will come out of Jeremy's skater game totals for the end of the year.

Stone has been an offensive dynamo to start the season for the Ottawa Senators, picking up 3 goals and 10 assists in the first 11 games of the year, which has him ranked 18th overall in pool scoring, a spot that would be worthy of a middle of the 1st round pick in the draft this year.  Not too bad for a 5th round pick in the draft, Jeremy is going to cash in well, even if Stone misses a couple of games.

Jeremy's team goes into Week Five in 7th place, only 5 points out of 3rd and a money spot.
