Another visit to the press box was on the docket for Blackhawks defenseman Sean O'Donnell, who has been a regular visitor this season. O'Donnell managed to get in a little bit more action over the last week, but it was time again for him to take his turn in the rotation. O'Donnell has played in 21 games this season, registering 4 assists in that time and I think it's fair to believe that he'll continue along this path for the rest of the year.
Munden G. may want to consider making a switch for a new defenseman when the second waiver draft rolls around, unless he has some other pressing needs to take care of in that time. Munden currently sits in 19th spot in the standings, thanks in part to some below average scoring from the blueline, only registering 37 points from that end.
The New Jersey Devils were without their most reliable forward this season, Patrik Elias, on Tuesday night, as he was out of the line-up with a touch of the flu. Elias leads all Devils in pool points this season, having 13 goals and 16 assists in 32 games, which is good enough for 45th in pool scoring to this point and needless to say, they lost to the Rangers, 4-1.
This will more than likely be a little blip on the good season that Dale C. is having, as he currently sits in 3rd place through Tuesday night's action, only 11 points back of 2nd and 13 points back of 1st. The race for the money is still very exciting and Dale is in the middle of it.
