Goalie Announcements (Feb 24)

I haven't done this post in a couple of weeks, so let's have a quick run down of tonight's four games, see if there is anything interesting in the works.

In Washington, it will be Mike Condon (John R.) and the Habs taking on Braden Holtby (Jeremy) and the Capitals.  Jeremy's lead dropped down to 4 points last night, so he's looking for a boost, while John also needs 4 points to catch Wes and move closer to getting out of last place.

The Penguins and Bruins are up in Boston tonight and we're expecting a battle of the number ones tonight.  Marc-Andre Fleury (John R.) will go up against Tuukka Rask (Dale C.) will be on the marquee tonight.  John has both goalies going, while a win for Dale could help him move from 14th to 12th, just like that.

Semyon Varlamov (Kristy & Don) has the flu, so it will be Calvin Pickard (non-pool) in net for the Avalanche, with the San Jose Sharks in town.  The young keeper will have his hands full, especially up against Martin Jones (Scott) at the other end of the rink.  Scott remains in shouting distance of the money, if he shouts really loudly... 35 points back.

Finally, the late game will be between the Buffalo Sabres and the Anaheim Ducks on the pond and in the nets tonight will be Robin Lehner (Derek & Dan) and Frederik Andersen (Benson), respectively.  Lehner has been good for the duo, picking up 6 points since being picked up a couple weeks ago, while Andersen will try to help Benson work his way out of Basement Dweller candidacy this week.
