Race to the Sin Bin (Feb 20)

Wes got his wish, some big minutes out of his goons last night, as Jordin Tootoo had a cross-checking major and a game misconduct on Friday night, opening some space up again on Derek & Dan, but it wasn't like their team was idle, as they had a handful of minutes of their own.  As play opens up on Saturday morning, Wes has a 20-minute lead to start the day.

The Detroit/Ottawa game will be the primary focus of tonight's sin bin action, with both goon teams offering up a player from the Senators in this third segment.  Wes will see the return of Mark Borowiecki, who was out all week with a concussion, he appears to be good to go, while Chris Neil will be in the lineup for Derek & Dan, taking on another one of their prime penalty box occupants in Justin Abdelkader.

Wes has all of his big guns out tonight, by the look of things, as Cody McLeod and the Avalanche are taking on the Oilers, Jordin Tootoo is back on the ice with the Devils in Washington and, if he plays, Zac Rinaldo could be drumming up trouble for the Bruins in Dallas.

The overall player count is 10-6 for Wes over Derek & Dan tonight and there's that 20-minute gap, so hold onto your butts!  We'll probably touch base again next at the Newsletter.
