The Philadelphia Flyers have managed to tap the Russian market for an undrafted forward, signing Roman Lyubimov to an entry-level deal on Monday morning. Lyubimov, 24, was one of those Russian players that had a good showing at the World Championships, which is becoming a good spring board for those players that were never drafted in Europe.
The Russian prospect has some work to do, if he would like to crack the Philadelphia lineup in the 2017 season, but at this point in the Summer, I figure that there is about two or three spots that appear to be up for grabs on their projected roster, so that's a positive for him.
