The Coyotes have been making Oliver Ekman-Larsson into a healthy scratch more often than not down the stretch this season, so it was only a matter of time that the team sends him down to the minors for some regular playing time. With the return of Ed Jovanovski right around the corner, the team needed to make some room on the blueline, meaning one of the players currently being dressed will likely become a scratch for Jovanovski's return.This doesn't come as a big shock to Clayton C.'s draft team today, as he hasn't seen Ekman-Larsson play in a few weeks, so this really only cinches the deal for him, not expecting to see him in the last week, barring injury.
