There are some hopeful reports this morning that the Buffalo Sabres may have Jordan Leopold back in their line-up tonight for Game Three against the Philadelphia Flyers. Leopold has been out nearly a month with a broken hand and he has already been reported to be skating and working on passing drills. This would be a very big boost, both offensively and defensively, if the reports are true.
Leopold was included on the final selection sheet, as it was finished before he had suffered his injury and he has three selections to his name, which means there are some people looking forward to his return.
The Sabres have already kept up with the Flyers through the first two games of the series and a boost like this may give them that extra boost to last a little bit longer, possibly even beating their first round opponents.
