An injury update in Dallas this morning. The team has decided to shut down Box 14 defenseman, Trevor Daley, for the remaining games this week, due to some soreness in his knee. Daley returned from a lower body injury, which sounds like was his knee, on Saturday night and scored the overtime winner in that game, but it sounds like the post-game was not very forgiving to the defender. The Stars are out of the playoff picture and won't need to rush Daley back.
Marty Turco remains questionable for tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild. Turco has sat out one game with a lower body injury and was skating on Monday, which could mean good news. Since these games don't mean much to the Stars, they may not want to risk Turco, especially if the lower body means groin injury. I don't think they want their number one goalie to be rehabbing all summer.
