It's a 2-year contract extension for William Karlsson from the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday afternoon, which will carry a $1 million cap hit for each season. "Wild Bill" had a pretty good season with the Blue Jackets, establishing himself as an everyday player, appearing in 81 games last season, scoring 9 goals and 20 points. He wasn't quite pool worthy with those numbers, but the 23-year old may have gained more than enough experience to really turn his third NHL season into a very good one. He certainly could make for an interesting sleeper pick late, if you're in a deep draft.
