The cards are being laid on the table early in draft week, as the Florida Panthers are looking to upgrade their back end with the services of Keith Yandle, to which they will have to negotiate a new deal with straight away.

The Panthers acquired the rights to the potential unrestricted free agent for a late round pick in this draft and if he is to sign with the Panthers, the Rangers would also receive a 4th round draft pick in the 2017 draft.

If Yandle makes it to market, he will be a coveted player, as he does possess a lot of the offensive attributes that teams are looking for in that number one, quarterback role for a team's power play, which is undoubtedly helpful in 5-on-5 situations as well.

Now the question is, will he or won't he?  Sign, that is.
