Tragic news in the hockey world today, as Vancouver Canucks defenseman, Luc Bourdon, was killed in a motorcycle accident in New Brunswick on Thursday afternoon. Bourdon was 21.
Bourdon, a 1st round selection in 2005, played in 27 games with the Canucks last season, registering a pair of goals. He was a promising young defenseman, who was likely to see more time with the big club in the coming year. A tragic end to a promising kid.
