Flyers Filling Up the Off-Season Infirmary

The surgery theatres continue to fill up in the NHL world, as Chris Pronger will undergo a discectomy to remove a herniated disc in his back.  Pronger was held out of a few games in the second round of the playoffs against the Bruins because of a back injury and now that it is the off-season, they will rectify this problem with another surgery for the big defender.   According to an NHL.com presser, Mike Richards and Andrej Mezsaros each had surgery on their wrist, Blair Betts had finger surgery and Michael Leighton had hip surgery.  With training camp not for a few months, I'm thinking that most of these guys will be good to go for the 2012 season.
