The Boston Bruins made a few moves on Tuesday to finalize their 23-man roster and one of those moves saw David Krejci placed on the Injured Reserve, retroactive to the weekend, which would allow him to sit out a few more days, miss a couple games, while a preseason injury gets back to 100%.
Krejci broke out somewhat last season, earning a big contract extension in the off-season, so an injured start is somewhat of a let down for the 28-year old Czech forward.
In the pool, Benson loses more projected games in Week One, as his total has now dipped down to 22 games, 4 games back of Stacey C. in 22nd in the category. On the flip side, three teams go into Wednesday night with 36 projected games on their roster, so it could be a rough ride for Benson and his pool team.
