Another big injury concern for the Carolina Hurricanes came from the last preseason game before the NHL regular season on Sunday, as one of their top scorers, Jeff Skinner, left the game after getting hit by Washington's Matt Niskanen. Skinner reportedly looked wobbly heading back to the bench after the hard hit, leaving some to believe it could be in the neighbourhood of a concussion. We have to remember, Skinner has had concussion problems before and he is on my injury prone list for that reason.
With only a few days left until the puck drops on the regular season, our reigning champ has another decision to make on his opening day roster, whether or not he'll want to carry Sinner through the first segment of the season. Allan has used a drop already and using one on his 6th round pick sounds scary, in defense of his pool championship.
