The news heading into Detroit is a tad up-and-down. Between injuries and personal situations, the Canucks could very well be dressing a patchwork line-up on Wednesday night against the Red Wings. 
Taylor Pyatt (Box 8) should be back in the line-up after leaving the game on Monday with an eye injury. Also on the mend, Sami Salo (John B.) should be back in the line-up and on the power play on Wednesday night. Matt Cooke (Box 9) is a game-time decision for the Canucks with a knee injury. Kevin Bieksa (Peter) may miss Wednesday's game as he went back to Vancouver on Tuesday to be with his wife, who is delivering their first child.Like I said, it could very well be a patchwork line-up...
