The Detroit Red Wings have announced their 23-man roster and it surprisingly doesn't include Igor Grigorenko. Grigorenko was sent down to the minors to make room for enforcer, Aaron Downey, who impressed head coach Mike Babcock with his grit and energy. The Red Wings roster should be quite dominant again this season. They have played exceptionally well in the preseason, but their road to the playoffs won't be quite as easy as the last couple seasons, as their division has improved overall.
