The team updates just keep on coming from the Opiated Sherpa. This time it's the Islanders' turn to show off their new line-up. With Shawn Bates injured and Chris Simon still suspended, the Islanders will have a few new faces in their line-up when play starts this week. The Islanders were not very well represented in the draft with the Sherpa, but there are still 12 to choose from on the selection sheet, if you were curious. Miroslav Satan (Stuart) and Bill Guerin (Box 15) should be the favourites coming out of Long Island for scoring and Rick DiPietro (Ryan) won't lead you the wrong way when it comes to the amount of time he'll see in the crease this year. The picks from the island could be a bit tricky, but they can also pay off quite handsomely if you get them in the right spot.

Of the 22 active players listed (active, not Simon or Bates), the team is worth about $36.6 million dollars. Not a very expensive team, by any means, but will give their rivals fits when they come a callin'.
