It was a big day on Monday for Carey Price, as his name was still on the Canadiens roster going into the season opener this week. Price will likely back-up Cristobel Huet for a good portion of the season or until Huet slumps and Price picks up the slack. The future is awfully bright for the Canadiens and their young prospect. Also making the team for this season was Kyle Chipchura and Michal Grabovski. Both will be suiting up this week when the Habs open their season in Carolina.

This 23-man line-up above has the current sticker price of $44.4 million (approx.) and should have quite a bit of bang for it's buck. They should have plenty of scoring and a fair amount of defensive responsibility, not to mention some of the (potentially) best goaltending in the East. The playoffs look like a good possibility and scoring won't come at such a high premium this year. A good team to pick pool players from, by the looks of things.
