The Anaheim Ducks are officially good to go, as of Monday afternoon. They made cuts to
Andrew Ebbett and
Ryan Donally to bring their camp roster to 23, including
Brad Larsen, who will be out for six weeks after hernia surgery. The team looks pretty solid from left-to-right in the table below and they are all financially sound for this season. With the team's moves this summer, they have gotten under the cap with a hit of $54.9 million. That leaves them about $1.8 million left underneath the cap and the six weeks off will discount Larsen's $550,000, after he misses his 10th consecutive game.

There shouldn't be many pool surprises here in Anaheim. The top five forwards are likely to be scoring machines, including
Teemu Selanne, who makes his return for yet another year. The top four defensemen are pretty solid for scoring, but that's where it's going to drop off. Plus/Minus should be a good stat on this blueline staff. Finally,
J-S Giguere will be a workhorse again for the Ducks, as he'll get the bulk of the starts and likely put a 35-40 win season together. Very encouraging. There will be a good dogfight between the Ducks and Sharks for the class of the Pacific, while the Stars lurk in waiting.
