Questions are abound in Vancouver concerning their secondary scoring, the health of their blueline and the goaltending's commitment. In the pre-season, the Canucks looked pretty good going 6-1 and put together some pretty good lines. The acquisition of Shane O'Brien from Tampa this week should sure up the blueline a little bit more. Captain Roberto Luongo looks to be a little more solid than his finish last season. All signs point to a better finish to the year, but there's still 82 games to play this season.

The Canucks will also have plenty of room on the books, if Mats Sundin so happens to return and desire a move out West. The Canucks have $46.5 million committed to their line-up this season, a clear $10.2 million below the cap ceiling. Even with a pro-rated contract offer of $10 million for Sundin will be easily managed.
