The Ducks got a little bit tougher on Saturday, as they claimed defenseman Nathan McIver from the Canucks off the waiver wire. Anaheim was known for their fighting majors two seasons ago and the addition of McIver to the roster will ensure that they'll be back up there in the category.McIver becomes the seventh defenseman on the roster and on the cheap as well. In 17 games last season, McIver didn't register a point, but he did have 52 minutes in penalties.
