The Blues have announced that their current back-up goaltender, Chris Mason, underwent an emergency appendectomy on Thursday night which will keep him out of the Blues line-up for approximately the next two weeks.In the Draft, Derek has lost a back-up goaltender, which may not be too productive anyways, but the Blues have been a pretty good team so far and if Mason is to lose out on starts, he could very well miss out on the few points offered to him.
