The Sabres learned that they will not have forward Jochen Hecht for the next couple weeks, thanks to undergoing surgery to repair one of his fingers. Hecht, a member of Box 20 on the Selection Sheet, will likely miss the next six games for the Sabres. You will want to avoid him, if at all possible.
