Ducks Announce Their Youth Roster

The Anaheim Ducks will be another one of those teams attending the Canucks rookie tournament in Penticton, BC starting on Sunday and they announced their youth line-up for the tournament and underneath the assumed roster I have been carrying all Summer, we'll find the rookie team.

As you can see below, there might be an extra opening or two on the blueline, so I think there could be a good chance for a number of those players listed below.  Let's also not count out Luca Sbisa, Brendan Mikkelson or Brett Festerling; all three didn't have enough games to qualify for this list, but they will be at training camp on will be on this list when that roster comes out in a week's time or so.

As for the players I am looking forward to reading about, they would include Nicolas Deschamps, Emerson Etem, Peter Holland and Kyle Palmieri up front, Cam Fowler and Mark Mitera at the back and Timo Pielmeier in net.  The Ducks have some spots open and some bubble players that could go either way, so I would think that most of these kids will know that going in and give it a pretty solid effort.  I also expect a few more to make the main camp for next weekend, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
