The Tampa Bay Lightning have lightened their load on their travel budget in this preseason, as they have sent three player back to their junior clubs on Friday, including Brett Connolly, who I had chosen as the team's young player in Box 25. Connolly was the 6th overall pick this past Summer and was drawing some reasonable reviews. Unfortunately, he did not have a great game against Edmonton on Thursday night and that was obviously enough for team management to send him back to his junior club for another season.Also heading back to juniors are their top 2009 draft picks, Carter Ashton (29th overall) and Richard Panik (52nd overall).
