Sheet Player News (Feb. 10)
The Capitals made the tough decision to make Box 21 forward Mike Knuble into a healthy scratch on Thursday night against the Jets, something that no one was likely expecting to see. Knuble, over his last five games, has been held pointless and has a -5 rating and only four shots on goal, three of which came in one game. Knuble has struggled this season and the coaching staff had to acknowledge that fact with a scratch. I don't think it would unfair to start some trade rumblings or rumours, possibly finding him a new environment to play in or possibly have the Caps improve with a deal. I don't think it's unreasonable to think this way.
