Goalie Announcements (Oct 12)

A happy Thanksgiving to everyone today, not to mention well wishes for a Columbus Day down in the US, one that provides us with some afternoon hockey!  Huzzah!

Five games on tap for Thanksgiving Monday, including two 11am MT games, another 1pm MT game and then a couple of evening match-ups as well.  17 teams are left in the survivor pool, let's see who has the chance to keep moving today.

In the early games, it is expected that Ben Bishop (Allan) will take on Tuukka Rask (Dale C.) in the Lightning/Bruins match-up in Boston, while Ondrej Pavelec (Stuart) will visit Thomas Greiss (Eric) in Brooklyn for the Jets and Islanders game.

The newly-appointed number one in Buffalo, Chad Johnson (John P.) gets another crack at his first win of the season, hosting Sergei Bobrovsky (Troy) and the Blue Jackets, which could be a good game, starting up at 1pm MT.

In the 5pm MT game, Roberto Luongo will take to the net for the Florida Panthers, offering Kristy & Don a stay alive early on this week, but he won't be taking on Steve Mason, who is away on family business, rather he'll be suiting up against Michal Neuvirth, who is getting his first start for the already eliminated Neil.

Finally, in the late game, Ryan Miller (Clayton) and the Canucks travel down to Anaheim to take on Frederik Andersen (Benson) and the Ducks.
