Goalie Announcements (Oct 21)

It's another quiet night on the schedule of the NHL on Wednesday, as only four games are on tap.  All eight projected starting goalies have been picked in the pool, but only two of those goalies belong to teams trying to join the five teams that qualified for Week Four last night.

First, Chad Johnson of the Sabres will get an opportunity to push John P. through to the next week, as he goes up against the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are starting the winless Jonathan Bernier (Cindy).

Secondly, the Colorado Avalanche will welcome the Carolina Hurricanes, where Semyon Varlamov will give Kristy & Don a shot at sticking around, taking on Cam Ward (Neil) tonight.

In addition to Ward being in net, Neil will also have Michal Neuvirth in the Flyers' net tonight, when they take on Tuukka Rask (Dale C.) and the Bruins, giving him a couple of starters going tonight.  Neil fell off the top of the standings over the weekend and is now trailing Dale B. by 2 points going into Wednesday night.
