He's quite possibly going to be a popular player in the Playoff Pool this year, so word that Nicklas Backstrom is questionable for Game One of the Capitals opening around series against the Canadiens does send a mild tremor through some decision-makers' heads. Apparently, Backstrom was injured in the last game of the season against the Bruins, but the nature of the injury is still rather shrouded in that playoff mystery.I would imagine that if the injury was much more severe, we would hear about its nature with a little bit more disclosure. For now, I'll say that I'm expecting Backstrom in the line-up before too long.
