The Wild have announced that
Mikko Koivu will undergo knee surgery to repair an injury that he suffered in November and managed to play the entire season with. There wasn't really any details on the extent of the knee injury, but if it's serious enough to require surgery, it must have been very troublesome to play with throughout the season. Since the Wild didn't qualify for the playoffs, Koivu's surgery will have no impact on any fantasy sports this Spring and it sounds like that he'll be good to go for training camp in September.
