An update is scheduled to come down on Saturday morning as to the extent of a possible knee injury that
Alex Kovalev suffered on Thursday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Kovalev left the game in the second period and wasn't able to return to the game. I haven't personally seen any video in regards to the incident that happened, but the way I've read a couple of posts, I don't think we should expect to see him this weekend, likely trying to save him for Game 1 of the Playoffs, at the earliest. If there is anything different, meaning more long-term, I'll do up a separate post for that.
The real question pool-wise, has more to do with the Playoff Pool, as Kovalev has no importance to the races for the money in either the Draft or the Sheet pool. We'll have to play 'wait-and-see' with this one. Pick him in the Playoff Pool at your own risk, prior to news.
