Unrestricted free agent forward Glen Metropolit has decided not to wait around in North America for a new contract, as he has decided to take a deal in Switzerland, not sure if there is an NHL out clause in the deal, but I think we can expect him to play abroad for at least another season.Metropolit, 36, will be taking a pretty good scoring record, having 16 goals and 13 assists in 69 games, ranking 203rd among forwards, which is still pretty deep, but still in good shape in a deep draft. At his age though, I don't think we'll be seeing too much more of him in the NHL.
