A small roster signing that I missed on Tuesday and Wednesday was the re-signing of veteran forward
Jon Sim by the New York Islanders. Sim signed a 1-year, two-way deal on Tuesday worth $650,000. Sim had 22 points in 77 games for the Islanders in 2010, his 3rd season with the club and plays the 3rd line checking role fairly well, but doesn't really produce enough to be thought of as a good fantasy pool player. He's just good solid depth for the price.
