It's finally here! The Selection Sheet Pool is now live, now running in its fifth year. Yes, the pool consists of 32 boxes, like the one you see in the graphic to the left, where you choose from 16 Western Conference boxes and 16 Eastern Conference boxes. You'll get 18 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goalies for the season and you can have as many players from one team as you would like.
In the 2011 season, the sheet pool wasn't advertised as much and I only had 33 teams entered for the season. This pool has topped out at 44 teams and at $25 a head, it definitely works out to be a pretty good prize pot.
There is an online selection sheet at the main webpage, www.opiatedsherpa.com, where you will see the complete rules breakdown, you can download a PDF copy of the sheet and you can also submit your team there as well.
Deadline for submissions is October 9th, the first Sunday of the regular season and then after that, you will only have seven trades to change up your team, take care of injured players and so on.
The 2012 season looks like it'll be another fun one, so don't forget to enter!
