The St. Louis Blues will not have veteran forward Jason Arnott available to them for the remainder of the preseason, as he is scheduled to have minor eye surgery on Wednesday to remove a cataract.
The Box 7 forward on the selection sheet should be back in time to start the season, which opens against the Minnesota Wild on October 8th. Recovery from the surgery is expected to be about a week, which will put him back on the ice in good time to dress for opening night.
