The Carolina Hurricanes made 12 cuts on Thursday afternoon, bringing their training camp roster down to 24 players, just one more than the maximum 23 players an active regular season roster can have. Included in the cuts was forward Zach Boychuk, who has been included as a forward on the selection sheet this season, currently sitting in Box 24. Boychuk has been beaten out by young Zac Dalpe, who has worked himself into final consideration, which isn't terrible, because Dalpe is currently in Box 25 on the sheet.
Avoid selecting Boychuk right now, because it's hard to say when he might get another shot at cracking the line-up.
