The Philadelphia Flyers got rookie forward Travis Konecny back into the lineup on Monday night after a couple of games in the press box, but his return only lasted until the 2nd period, when he left with an injury and didn't return to the game. When he left the ice, he was reportedly holding his shoulder and limping, so it could be a couple of different injuries. The Flyers are going to offer an update later on today and if it is more serious than a day-to-day issue, we'll provide an update.
Clayton's team is holding steady in 17th, 10 points back of 16th and 5 points better than 18th, so it would take some work to move up and little to no work to fall down in the standings. An injury like this could hurt, but there wasn't much stock left in the season.
