After having such a good Tuesday, Wednesday in the Waiver Draft wasn't nearly as productive as one would have hoped. Nevertheless, if we can have a good Thursday, it would make my weekend so much better!
Wilton decided to drop a pretty okay defenseman as well, following in the footsteps of Troy, just one pick earlier, dropping Jake Muzzin of the Kings and getting Deryk Engelland of the Flames to replace him. That should be a good replacement for some time in the penalty box.
Derek B. thought Michael Ferland was going to be a pretty good addition for some grind time, but he had only registered 9 minutes in 21 games, so an upgrade was needed and that came in the way of Washington's Tom Wilson.
Finally, the last pick actually made came from Tony, as he swapped out for some scoring... moving the oft-injured Nick Bjugstad of the Panthers and picking up young Russian Pavel Buchnevich. Tony is still trying to move out of the basement, letting the caverns of the pool standings be for the goons and ruffians.
Dale C. ended up passing on his next pick and now we're waiting for Kristy & Don to see what goon they end up taking.
It's only Thursday and I'm sure a lot of the top teams in the pool are likely going to pass, but if you're almost ready with your picks, you can always forward them along!
