Goalie Announcements (Dec 9)
There'll be no new developments in the goalie survivor pool on Wednesday night, but we will see upwards of three pool debuts in creases tonight.
Mike Condon (John R.) will be starting for Montreal tonight, as the Habs are set to take on Tuukka Rask (Dale C.) in a big rivalry night. Condon will try and help John get out of the basement and into some respectable position.
We know for sure that Reto Berra (Tony) will also be getting a start in one of the late games tonight, as the Avalanche are hosting the Penguins, who will start John's other goalie, Marc-Andre Fleury. This will pit a couple of bottom tier teams against each other, both trying to claw their way back up.
Haven't heard for sure yet, but it is expected that Anders Nilsson (Cindy) will get the start for the Oilers tonight, as they host the San Jose Sharks. Cindy is still looking for her first goalie win of the season, but Nilsson will be in tough against a Sharks team that lost last night in Calgary and throwing Martin Jones (Scott) back out to start.
In the other late game tonight, it should be Henrik Lundqvist (Derek & Dan) against Ryan Miller (Clayton), as the Rangers are in Vancouver to take on the Canucks.
