Reports from the Calgary/Winnipeg game last night have defenseman Dennis Wideman leaving the game early with an upper-body injury and the early reports were not very positive from the coaching staff. The Flames won't likely provide any updates until later in the afternoon today or tomorrow morning, as the veteran defender is still going through the battery of tests.
Mike's Mover & Shaker bound team is now reeling from a couple of new notes, which might be a bit tough on his club. His team could use something positive this week, since it sits in 22nd, beginning play on St. Patrick's Day.
It sounds like goalie Petr Mrazek is feeling under the weather today, so instead of dressing for the game against the Blue Jackets tonight, it will be Jimmy Howard in net for the Red Wings and Jared Coreau has been called up to act as back-up tonight. This should only be a day-to-day thing, if he indeed misses the game, since Mrazek is officially listed as questionable right now.
Tony's team has already moved up to 15th already this week, as his team's hot streak continues this week. His team sits with 9 points in the week already and has its sights set on moving up further. His team trails Dale B.'s team by only 2 points at the moment and carries a lot of momentum, minus this missed start from Mrazek.
